Connecticut GOVERNOR NED LAMONT

December 9, 2021

Under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act § 1-200 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of all public records related to COVID, including all records which support your public comment on Twitter:

“The overwhelming majority of people sick w/ Covid right now in CT are unvaccinated. This germ is like a heat seeking missile searching for them.
As the holiday season continues, I urge everyone to be cautious, careful, vaxxed, and boosted.”

Specifically, I am requesting:

1. A table showing the total number covid cases in CT by day since January 1, 2021, broken down by the total number of shots administered (i.e., 0 shots, 1 shot, 2 shots, or 3 shots);

2. Scientific proof that Covid targets the non-vaccinated.

Dr. Manisha Juthani, Connecticut Public health commissioner

DECEMBER 7, 2021

Under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act § 1-200 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of all public records related to COVID and the OMICRON variant, in particular the information that informed your comments in the following Greenwich Time article https://www.greenwichtime.com/news/article/CT-official-Omicron-may-be-10-times-as-16679184.php and News 8 interview and corresponding article https://www.wtnh.com/news/health/coronavirus/dept-of-public-health-commissioner-discusses-the-states-increased-covid-19-positivity-rate/.

Specifically, I am requesting:
Scientific proof that Omicron is more contagious than Delta;

A description of testing method used to positively identify the first positive Omicron case in Connecticut, and the test used to confirm Omicron in the family members of that that person;

Scientific proof that the testing method(s) used gives factual and accurate evidence of the existence and the viral load of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus;

Scientific proof of the mechanisms of transmission of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus;

Scientific proof that boosters and vaccines keep people out of hospitals;

Scientific proof that boosters increase immunity as soon as they are injected;

Scientific proof that the boosters are not causing the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in high boosting towns, as reported in the Greenwich Time article;

For the 8.3% Covid positivity rate in CT, a breakdown by the number of shots each person has had, irrespective of their vaccination status (i.e., 0 shots, 1 shot, 2 shots, 3 shots);

Scientific proof that colder weather and humidity contributes to a rise in Covid-19 circulation;

Evidence that boosting is safe and effective;

A detailed explanation of the numerator/denominator math for the positivity rate and why it’s going higher, as explained in the video included with the News 8 article;

Scientific proof that the virus “finds the unvaccinated” and the mechanism the virus uses to locate the non-vaccinated;

Scientific proof that the vaccine stops transmission of the virus as suggested in the News 8 interview;

Scientific proof that masks are protective against Covid; and

Scientific proof that mild breakthrough cases are “good news” instead of a sign of vaccine failure.

CONNECTICUT GOVERNOR Ned Lamont

DECEMBER 6, 2021

Under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act § 1-200 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of all public records related to COVID and the OMICRON variant, including all records which support your public comment:

“As I’ve been saying for the last several days, given the speed that this new variant has been spreading around the world and its positive identification in several states, we presumed it was already in our state and the information we received from the lab today confirms that fact... This likely is not the only case of the variant in the state. That being said, I must urge everyone in Connecticut not to panic. While we are still learning more about this variant, our health providers are continuing to do their best to protect everyone. We have life-saving tools like vaccines and boosters available to fight this pandemic – including the Delta and Omicron variants – and I urge everyone to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and everyone around them.”

Specifically, I am requesting:

1. A copy of the lab results that positively confirm the first case of the Omicron in Connecticut, along with a description of the testing method used;
2. Scientific proof of the existence of Covid 19;
3. Scientific proof of the existence of the Delta variant;
4. Scientific proof of the existence of the Omicron variant;
5. Scientific proof of a valid diagnostic test that distinguishes between cold, flu, pneumonia, covid 19, omicron, delta and/or any other variants of concern; along with the names of manufacturers who provide valid tests;
6. Scientific proof that covid vaccines save lives;
7. Scientific proof that boosters are effective against both the Delta and the Omicron variants.
